Terminal

One other funny anecdote that only those flying through Lambert International Airport would appreciate...

As I walking across the tarmac from the tiny commuter plane that delivered me to St. Louis to the concourse I noticed a sign above the doorway that said TERMINAL ENTRANCE. I know that TERMINAL has many definitions, but I think this airport has put death back in to the word.

Thanks to Fluid Pudding for sharing the link that I mentioned in the previous post. Here it is: http://blackbird17.blogspot.com/2005/06/terminal.html

This concludes the airport-related part of our show.

Hey, now... I travel all over the place, but St. Louis is my home. It has two distinct advantages over other airports:

1. The bathroom stall doors open OUTWARD. This makes dealing with luggage soooooooo much easier. So simple and yet GENIUS. Every other airport I ever go to has inward opening doors. MORONS. Sheesh.

2. The drop off and pick up area has a design that doesn't include some half-ass parallel parking. You pull in at an angle into the space and then you drive forward into the exit lane. It makes SO much sense and doesn't exist at any other airport.

I think that means we're smarter. hahah

Truth be told, the Kansas City airport is the most convenient for getting in and out of (but must be a security nightmare).

Sorry for rambling... I have a knack for making a short story long, as well.
